Closing information conference

We would like to cordially invite you to the closing information conference of the project "Green innovations in student theses and semester projects, IRinGIFT", which will be held on: March 26, 2024 in the room CH 14, Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology STU, Radlinského 9, Bratislava.
The goal of the conference is to inform the participants about the results of the project financed from Norwegian funds and co-financed from the state budget of the Slovak Republic, as well as about the active participation of students in the project by implementing excellent student theses and semester projects that bring green innovations and offer sustainable solutions to environmental problems.

Norway Workshop

Students from Slovakia and Norway presented their green innovations at the joint workshop of the IRinGIFT project, which took place on 22.2. and 23.2.2024 at the Radison Blu Hotel in Trondheim. A total of 9 students from STU and 6 students from NTNU actively participated in the workshop with their presentations. Workshop led by Prof. Haydary and Assoc. Prof. Sarker provided a platform for students to exchange experiences and gain new knowledge in the field of green innovations. The workshop programme also included a tour of the NTNU campus and a visit to the Stjørdal heating plant.

Slovakia workshop
23.05. 2023
On 17th of May 2023, a special workshop on the IRinGIFT project was held as a special section of the 49th SSCHE International Conference. The aim of this workshop was to raise awareness on green technologies and innovation. During the workshop, the professional community was made aware of the specific green innovations that the students have been working on in their projects during the last 5 months. After presenting their achievements, the students answered the questions of the workshop participants, which allowed for a better transfer of the acquired knowledge. The total attendance of the workshop was 47 people from several countries, with a diverse professional representation ranging from students, university teachers and researchers to representatives from industrial practice.
